This is a new feature on Horror Crypt.  It’s never too early to plan for your own funeral, because remember we all have to die sometime. I will be giving my opinion about caskets and coffins and why they would be perfect, or not so perfect, for your eternal slumber.

First off is the Greyson by Batesville. It’s made out of stainless steel and has a rubber gasket so that if you are turned into a vampire you won’t have to worry about getting wet. Neato! Rust resistant, you won’t be embarrassed because when they dig you up they won’t see those pesky rust holes that metal caskets tend to get. That will give you peace of mind I’d say! The nicest part about it is its adjustable bed and mattress. How thoughtful of them to provide that, because you never know when you’ll have to have your legs elevated for better circulation. The only issue I have with this casket is the gold hardware. I feel that makes it look a little cheap, so personally Bloofer Lady will have to pass on this one. If they replaced it with silver colored hardware I would change my mind in an instant!

Are you not recommending cremation to prevent coming back as the enemy when the zombie apocalypse starts?

Hey, pretending to be a zombie is the hip thing to do these days. Let’s see them change their minds when they really have to be one! ;-)
